ABOUT WHIDBEY ISLAND

Whidbey Island is sixty miles long and ten miles wide at its widest point. The weather is mild and the island is beautiful year round.
Whidbey Island has five state parks, Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve, and miles of public beaches ready for exploration.
If you like hiking, biking, horseback riding, boating, fishing, golfing, tennis, bird watching, rock collecting, visiting art galleries, wineries, or just relaxing on a beach or on a grassy hillside watching a bald eagle soar in the skies above, Whidbey is the place for you.
2008's LIFE Magazine ranked Whidbey Island "One of the Top 100 Destinations in the World."
For the shopper there are many antique shops, art galleries and more in the little towns located throughout the island.
The Coupeville State Ferry to Port Townsend is a short scenic ferry ride that is located only four miles from the town of Coupeville.
From Port Townsend, there are many easy day trips you can take to explore Olympic National Park and the Olympic Peninsula.
